By now we all know they lied about the Fats we use.
One thing that I thought was very interesting was when we eat too much pasta it is converted into ,,, Fat.
Our bodies use fat 4 fuel when it's needs it.

Last thought the WWII generation ate animal fats in everything growing up & they live into their 90s & 100s

Are you back to using animal fats today? Rub it on you old ass skin, & you will look ten days younger LOL.
Food just taste better, like powder biscuits with lard UMMMMM!

I'm beginning to see internet reports about how what we were taught to be bad fats are not actually so.
Seems this entire thing was championed by one government "scientist" similar to how the covid vac was orchestrated by one swamp member which has turned out to be totally fake.
But that being said, I did look at the links at the end of the post that were used in the report as well.
Scanned, but not studied. There appeared to be some liberal interpretations, but not contradictions.
I would like to see more medical folks that are independent thinking to review this.

One more last thought: The WWII gen grew up on Organic foods, DDT was not invented yet, & they did not Process their food to death.
Experts have but one Butthole apiece after all.

The further we move away from real foods the sicker we get. Foods have not gotten safer in America, the truth is just covered up better by the feds.

I've forgotten most of what I learned in my college Nutrition class, ( though it was over 40 yrs ago) Fat has 9 calories of energy / gm, while protein & carbohydrates have about 4 calories of energy / gm.. So fat stores more energy..but it also breaks down more slowly.

As far as saturated fat vs unsaturated fat, as I recall it has to do with the chemical structure..a saturated fat had a full electron shell ,in it's outermost layer.
Unsaturated fat has "openings" ,& is able to accept electrons in it's outermost shell.. ( The unsaturated fats break down easier)

another difference, more apparent is Saturated fats are usually solid at room temperature.
The most common sources of saturated fats are meats and dairy products
Unsaturated fats are usually liquid at room temperature.
Vegetable oils, nuts and fish have mostly unsaturated fats.
