I really like the Video that goes with this song. I heard this when I was probably 13 or 14. Made a huge impact on me. I felt bad because it painted the Chaplains in a lousy light, but absolutely love the song. Child of the 60's for sure. I have read this dates back to ww1, and if I recall it was a Scot who wrote it as a poem. Apparently the more things change the more they stay the same. Still an incredible song that brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. Thank you for posting it Mike. We will have wars till The return of Christ, then watch out 'cause it will be the last war, and the devil will get his tail handed to him, and he'll be sentenced to hell for eternity. How about Good bye Norma Jean? Also the version of that song that he did in her honor when she died, (was murdered) England's Rose, an extremely beautiful song.
