I like old school paper ballots...Electronic ones can, & will be manipulated. But there has to be checks and balances to keep it honest. Always question that's a Patriots job.
We voted this A.M. Miss LD'S was 147 mine was 150. We watched it go in, and watched the counter change. Regardless of the outcome, God has this handled, I tend to forget that. I believe He is on the side of the patriots, as long as we support the right, and not the wrong. God Bless the USA!

Back to some pistols......

I shot this one this morning. I've had it for a little over a year and I continue to be very impressed with it. It's in the same league as a Nelson Custom and Marvel Precision Unit#1, but at a budget price $349 (vs $585 for a Nelson and $565 for a Marvel Unit#1). If anyone in 1911fanatic's land is looking for a **reasonably priced** 1911-.22 Conversion Unit that you could seriously compete with in Bullseye Matches, check out the products from Advantage Arms. This is their "Target Model". I purchased it "used" but it was unused. It's branded STI International but it's just the standard Advantage Arms Target Model. I'm going to keep the iron sights on this one and the only upgrade I bought after purchasing was their fibre optic front sight, an optic rail is available. Their poly magazines work flawlessly. It's mounted to my 2014 Colt Combat Elite lower, RoCo "The Master" stocks, Advantage Arms poly magazines.

I was asked by a local sporting goods retailer that I frequent and buy my .22 ammo to try out a Bushnell RXS-100 4MOA red dot. This is Bushnell's cheapest offering in a reflex red dot that is priced just over $100. The red dot comes with the weaver mount. I mounted it to my D&T 7" barrel on my S&W Model 41. I sighted it in a 20 yards using a bench rest and then shot it off hand. It seems to work very well. It was a breeze to sight in and I'll keep it for a while to see if it holds 0. So far so good. 1985 S&W Model 41, 2013 7" D&T barrel, Herrett's stocks.
