Dux-R-Us
Fear the Duck
These pistols were on display at the Tower of London, which I toured last year. They are owned by the Royal Armouries. I was struck by their beauty and the intricacies of their decoration. Besides weapons, they are works of fine art. Can you identify them?
a) SIG P220; b. Browning Hi Power; c) S&W Model 583-3; d) S&W Model 29
Read the placards below about each (except the HP which I missed photographing). Two pistols were turned in during the Government’s buy in program after the Ban of 1997. Extraordinary pistols like these two (a and c) were saved. The rest were destroyed.
