Walmart Ammo returning?

I see it somewhat regularly. It is still being bought up 3 boxes at a time but the rationing makes it last a few days now. The hunting calibers quit disappearing and are always on the shelf now. Soon the hoarders and resellers will run out of $ and/or customers.

Our local walmart has dust on the shelves. They buy it before it can be stocked. Buddy called the other day and said they brought a pallet of ammo.
He said it was worse than a food drop at a refugee camp full of starving people.
Mom, dad, and kids grabbing anything.

I got some 9mm here in Weatherford the other day. First I've seen in a while. Still no .22lr yet though. I figure I'll just check whenever I'm there and if they have some I will buy it if not then oh well. The three hundred rounds I picked up friday night just replaced what I've shot over the last two matches so I'm still about even on stock.

Like I said in a previous post I seen with my own eyes an employee pull ammo out from under the counter and sale it to a guy, when I asked about buying some I was told that they was out.

I talked with a manager at Walmart on expressway and council yesterday and he told me that on the previous day the only got 5 boxes of 20g and their was already a line of people waiting on ammo. I asked him when would be best to try and get some ammo he said that he gets their at 7am and usually starts stocking the ammo around 7:15am. they may or may not get what your looking. I will try and get some tomorrow morning. we'll see what happens and let y'all know.

I go in at 7am they tell I have to be there at 11Pm. When I go in at 11pm they tell me I have to be there at 6pm. I call everyday! Day before yesterday, I called at 7pm and was told all ammo was sold already. I called last night they said it would be out in the morning at 7am. Everday different story, I've been told they only received one 50 round box of 9mm and watched three employees came by to ask where their 9mm was. I've been told by many of people that friends and employees come first. If there is anything left over the customer gets it. I've only been able to purchase 4 50 rd boxes of 9mm, 3 100 rd boxes of 12ga birdshot, and 6 20 rd boxes of 223 sinces Dec. I'm there or I call everyday, All I can say is bullMF'enS#!T. Tn people must still think the world is going to End ammo is no where to be found here. Atleast I have found some online, and picked up 200 rds of 9mm 50 miles away, If not I would be screwed, If I can't find any soon I'll have to stop shooting til I do.

If didn't have to work and the Wife and Kids I would! I even tried to get into EBC defence contractor to see if I could get some ammo there but they only sell to the GOVERNMENT! I hear they have a hollowed out mountain full of ammo.

thanks,
I paid $24.97 a box for the 100 rd Winchester White Box 9mm 115gr FMJ just last week. That was out here in Weatherford OK.

I'm in TN but shotgun birdshot is the same price as normal. I have only been able to buy a few boxes of 223 and 9mm. 223 has gone up about $1.50 a box of 20 and the 9mm has went up about $3.00 a box of 50. Walmart is still cheaper then online if they have ammo.

Both academy stores I go to have had 40 and some 9 for the last few weeks. They keep it at the service desk though, not near the other ammo shelves and they limit to 1 box.

If they are shipping it to austin, I would expect they shipping to other areas.
