Walmart .223

I was looking for 22lr, but they only had three boxes of TulAmmo .223 55g fmj......I picked it up and offer it in trade for one (bulk box) 500/550 Winchester or Federal 22lr HV HP or round nose.....................Walmart prices are about even.

Got 3 boxes of it today and tonight went to WM on Folly Road and got some Tula .223 and a 100rd pack of 9mm...they had quite a bit left...might be worth checking out in the am...i kinda wanna get a lil more 9mm..might check it out in the am as well

heads up WM in Tanger Outlet is gettin 17 boxes of Tula .223 in the am...the site shows it in stock so i went and nothing was on the shelf, the guy behind the counter said itll all be out in the morning...also some federal 9mm...not sure what else since that is all i inquired about...im goin to try to be there around 6:30...but that is pretty early so we shall see

Why won't it matter in 2 weeks? How long has this "shortage" been going on (since SH) and how long will it continue (in your opinion)? I don't think 2 weeks will do it.

Went to two Walmarts this am and they had zero!!! ATI even has zero 22lr on their shelves....They did have some 7.62/39........They have some ARs below $2K.....

I popped off about 5 hundred 22lr off on the 25 yard side checking the scope on my Colt M4 that I mounted on the carry handle with low rings.......(poor 2" groups) I wobble around standing.

I think it will be much more than two weeks local, but online buying may improve.

I went to Rivers Ave WM around 1:15 and got 3 boxes of Tula .223 and they had 8 more boxes....after my next exam around 5 went to Tanger WM and got 3 boxes of Tula 7.62x39 and they had 9 boxes left...

Because there's too much attention on DHS with the big ammo purchase, the prices have stopped climbing, stores are rescinding their quantity limits, and importation from Israel, Denmark, and a few other quality producers in back in full swing.
Most ammo makers produce components as well. if you were an ammo company would you focus on the shipping of reloading supplies or ammo production?

There's lots more shooters than reloading enthusiast.
The New gun owners, people who ran out and bought just because they thought there was going to be a ban now are sitting with $1500 tied up into a $800 rifle knowing that they can't recoup their loss.
I wouldn't expect IMI M855 to drop down to 200 bucks a case but, it's available.
everything is available if you can afford it.
