I was hoping GGG would be making a side saddle for the versa max but they said they were not when I called today. So... .does any one have suggestions for alternatives?

Thanks!

It's for 3gun. Ok I'll take the advice of someone more experienced than me in these ways. What is the reson to not put one on?

What is the reason to add one? Seriously? How are you loading? Weak hand? Dueces? Nothing works with a side saddle.

They actully kinder weak hand loading because the shells in your hand hit the saddle.

I can top load slugs pretty fast out of a side saddle and it's nice to have a few extra rounds in case they are needed. It's a shorter reach to a side saddle than to my belt and back

That's a good point about the weakhand loading hitting it though. I plan on running doubles and then quads sometime this year. Waiting on my welded lifter and trying to figure out which solution I want for loading.

If you look at the top guys nobody runs a side saddle. A two round caddy maybe but no side saddles.

For me it way fast to grab a shell out if my caddy then try to work one out of those two pack Velcro deals or the Velcro side saddles.

If you think it will help you get one. If you practice coming off your belt with one shell a bunch you won't need one.

Good points Jesse. I got the versa max out today at a subgun/shotgun match I setup. I love that thing. I shot the subgun match then shot skeet for the first time with a buddy and I think I'mg goiing to rock it with no side saddle for a few months and see if I still want one come summer time. Thanks for the advice.
