I was going to get an Outback, but they stopped making them with Standard Transmission so I had to get a Forester (they had to order).
You will have more wiggle room if you have your financing already done at your bank before, if not then they got the drop on you son.

Went to Bob Moore and ended up with a WRX. Happy with the car and the dealership.

If I didn't buy the WRX I would have ended up with an outback or the XV crosstrek. I really like Subaru's lineup after researching and driving them.

crosstrek gives up all the space of an outback for perceived styling. I hate it, personally.
Jap dealers will generally do much less on knocking $ off from msrp than domestics. On a 30k car, getting 4k off of a model thats not particularly in demand is pretty good. compared to a dodge dealer that will throw 10k off in your face the second you look at a dodge ram.

this is the time to buy, got a great deal on a new Tundra, made right outside of San Antonio, TX.

If you look at the dealers "internet pricing", and check several local dealer for that price, youll find that thats about rock bottom. Youd be very lucky to get 1k under that

I got very little off sticker. Eventually I was told in a very direct manner that the entire car I wanted was desirable, and they would not give more than 1k off. I was able to deal on accessories and add ons. Normally after you leave a dealership you get a call back in a few days with a better price. That didn't happen in my case.

I have a 2013 Subaru Outback, and it must be the most practical vehicle I've ever owned. I can't recommend it enough.

My 95 Tacoma with 324K + miles on it is taking me to NM for an Elk hunt before the end of the year.
Thinking about a Tundra next spring, or shoot for 500k for grins and giggles.

I'm 6'3" and can drive my wife's CRV just fine. I'm certain you can pick a slightly used one for under $20K. They damn near run forever.

I'd recommend a newer focus, Mazda 3s are expensive to fix Calibers are ugly ass bastards the focus is still in production, gets good mileage and parts are widely available.
