My dad has a Vector 53 which is the short barreled version of the V93 and as far as functionality it's been 100% with every ammo we've fed it, both factory and reloads.
The only problem he's had with his is the sights for some reason aren't on completely straight and he's had pure hell trying to sight it in. He sent it back to Vector to have them fix it and he got it back and it still had the same problems. Finally he said screw it and bought an HK clamp mount, put an Aimpoint on it and now it's right as rain.
Awesome gun to shoot, a little on the heavy side like all H&K rifles, but it's definitely cool.
The brass slings 15' away at about 2 o'clock in a nice little pile about 2-3 feet in diameter so picking up spent shells is easy.
By the way... what are you thinking of trading him for it? (just curious)
