It has come to my attention that Wisconsin does not recognize my Oklahoma Cary permit for some stupid dummy head reason. So my wife and I need to get another carry permit they do recognize. Someone told me that the Utah permit was the way to go since it is recognized in mots states that allow carry.

Can anybody confirm or deny that?

Anybody know where I can take that class in OKC, Tulsa, Wichita or DFW?

Don't know what the UT class and license cost, but several folks (Charles at Safe Home included) stopped teaching it when they went to the "State of Residency" requirement. Basically, you can only get their NR license if you already have your license in your home state. Not a problem for most folks, or in this case, but most people getting the NR were doing so because it was cheaper and easier.

The AZ class is $60, then you pay $60 to AZ DPS. Charles fingerprints you, you go to the Post Office, buy a money order, and mail your packet...all in the same day. AZ mails your license to you in about 3-4 weeks.

The Utah permit was easy to get and cheap. When I had mine it gave me more states than the Oklahoma permit did. The Utah body that handles the permits is also the most helpful government entity I have ever dealt with.

Both AZ and Utah get you WI. Utah permits reguire you to take a class (get a signed form). Utah is $49 for the permit and you must have home state permit if one is issued in your state.
Utah is the most desirable as it covers the most states.

Arizona no longer requires you take a state approved course (2011). NRA, proof of competitor, etc will suffice. You request an application and send it in yourself.
