Time to plan for this one. Expect 5/6 stages including 360 bay and 300 yard range. Round count for this one will be close to 125 of each. Remember there will be a rifle/pistol only division.

See y'all at the range.

I need to come to this. It's seriously has been too long since I've shot a match. It's beginning to be ridiculous.

Tell me more about the rifle/pistol only? Since the doctor hasn't released me to shoot shotgun yet, this might be very timely.

Thanks!

It's the same stages but you shoot the shotgun portions with pistol. We might have some slug and buckshot this time, but that portion would not be engaged for the pistol/rifle division.

Planning stages now, going to try to make this one heavy on rifle. We will be using the 360 bay and the 300 yard range plus 4 other stages. Plan on 10 slug and 10 buckshot, 75 pistol, 100 rifle, and 75 birdshot.

See ya there,

Brian

What kind, and what distance, are the buckshot going to be? I'm going to be up in OK for Thanksgiving and may try to squeeze this match in.

Thinking I want to use my SBR for this. 300 yards may be a trick though. Are the targets going to be very big that far out?

Final estimated round count:
132 rifle
68 pistol
33 birdshot
4 buckshot (or birdshot if you can knock down a forward falling popper at 40 yards)
3 slugs

Longest shot will be 200 yards

6 stages

If anyone would like to help with final setup show up about 8am.

Thanks

Brian
