No one wants to see USSA fail and we all ave a vested interest in their success.
I spoke to Rob last night, he indicated he is not interested in getting into to it on an open forum.mike cyrwus said:Rob, tell us your story.
I doubt that any of us need to worry about this kind of thing happening again.xdnok said:Looks like the ball is back in USSA's court, I hope they can patch things up with Rob, Jerry and Kelly as there are a lot of people that truly appreciate the time and effort that they put into their match. I know they are not asking for special treatment, they just want consistent competent support that both parties have agreed to. I will be back to compete in the matches if they reach an agreement as I'm sure that will not be the last match I travel to that for one reason or another is cancelled at the last minute.
So him not getting into it on an "open" forum means we can just make our mind up foir ourselves based on threads like this about what really went on, and who was at fault. Not getting into it on an open forum means I feel compelled to post posts like this one right here.jeffhughes said:I spoke to Rob last night, he indicated he is not interested in getting into to it on an open forum.
He may feel differently in the light of a new day, but as of last night commenting here was a no go.

Yes. Which is why he has chosen to take the highroad. At the present time, Rob is refraining from engaging in the tit-for-tat forum discussion. I'm sure that if a resolution is reached, Rob will address the issue.mike cyrwus said:This is the same Rob that happens to be OK section coordinator, right?
thats bullshit. Our management needs to inform the owners (shooters and uspsa members). How is a first person account of the situation by the person directly involved in it (the same person who is "our" representative) anything remotely tit-for-tat?The Antichrome said:Yes. Mike, I'm sorry that you think my assessment of the situation is bullshit. I will, however, stick by it.mike cyrwus said:thats bullshit. and if a "resolution" isnt reached, will we never hear anything else about this?? will it cease to exist, will this episode fade away, never to be spoken of, again?
ok, got it. There were emotions involved.jeffhughes said:My opinion as a USSA match director is that this whole situation would have never happened had Jade been there yesterday. But he is dealing with a serious family situation.
Rob knows Jade has our best interests at heart and Karen in the meeting that Robert and CK attended indicated she relies very heavily on him at this point.
I suspect that when Rob and Jade have the opportunity to talk over the next few days, we'll see a statement from both of them.
I totally agree.mike cyrwus said:ok, got it. There were emotions involved.
I figured that, but it would have cut off all this ussa badmouthing and goofing had we gotten a "ill get back to you guys soon, just hang tite for a little while, instead of it being all one sided bashing.
Who did you hear? Range staff or the owners?ChrisC said:I was there I saw what happened with my own eyes and heard the explanation with my own ears. I will not step foot on ussa's ground again.
