This Saturday 3/22 we will be having our monthly USPSA match at USSA, the good news is that we will not be on the smaller dusty bays. Plan on 6-7 stages with a classifier with round count around 160 ish. Sign in will be at the lodge at 9:30 and walk though starting shortly afterwards, cost is $15 for non members and $10 for members.

If you are able to get out there early to help set up it would be greatly appricated, I plan to be there at 2.

Hope everyone can make it

They wanted to close 3 of the Bays down that we were using for paying members to use.....there were a lot more Bays available that they could have used for 20 mins before leaving.

It was rather frustrating after driving two hours to shoot for 18 seconds to drive 2 more hours? Kinda poor management on the part of the people controlling the facilities. The uspsa match is a regular occuring event. Just my 1&1\2 cents worth.

2 people came down to shoot on one of the bays in use for the match. They went back to the clubhouse to let them know and were willing to change bays. USSA told them they would make the match move. Basically, they out two shooters who ended up being there for 30 minutes ahead of the 40 shooters there for a match that was already set up, while having 20 free bays they could have sent the other 2 shooters to.

Kelly and Rob (and anyone else who helps put the matches together up there), thanks for your work. You deserve better than the BS you received from USSA today.

In all seriousness I think we should make sure USSA's People In Charge are aware of what happened and offer them a chance to respond before we make USSA the target of BS's Two Minutes Hate.

AHAHAHA like that's gonna happen

I totally agree that those in charge should be made aware. The folks at the clubhouse are just employees. We all make mistakes.

There was a large group hanging around discussing it after it was called. There was plenty of time for those in charge to address the issue if they chose to. Instead, they just sent word with the guys picking up the trash cans. You'd think if you were going to tick off a group of 40, management would do it in person or at least try to do some damage control.

Karen did not know what was going on until some time afterwards. She met with several USPSA shooters and was very concerned with how this situation was handled. She and David will for sure be addressing the situation.
