It's the 4 Saturday already so it's time for the USPSA match at USSA. Plan on 6 stages including a classifier with a round count of 150-175.
Sign in will be at 9:30 at the lodge with walk through starting at 10:00. Jerry is out of town this month so if anyone is able to get out to the range at 2 Friday to set up would be great. Cost is the same, $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

Those Classifiers still show on the USPSA website.
There is no mention of them being retired. They are not marked retired.
There has been no notification to the membership.

It should take more than one email from one overzealous Area Director to retire a huge stack of Classifiers and change the entire makeup of the Classifier system in general.

I wrote to my SC, AD, and Mr President about all this. The SC responded immediately in agreement. The AD immediately contacted me to discuss it. He indicated that the board really screwed this up and are now pumping the brakes and re-evaluating it. Phil failed to respond.

I say, shoot 'em and send in the fees. The USPSA would either have to accept them or return the money.

Youre right Mike it is.

But,

During the BOD meeting they elected kyle to compile a list of classifiers that he felt gave the 8 shot an advantage. He was to have the list made amd distributed by January 31st. I think thqt pretty much makes it official.

Either way. Lets shoot on Saturday. even without Jerrywe can still have fun.

I'll be out to help....

An edict handed down by Pope Kyle to some match directors in an email is hardly official.

The minutes of the meeting read different than your version. So does my conversation with the A4 Director.

The Classifiers remain on the website. No notification has been made to the membership.

Yeah if they aren't classifiers anymore they should be removed and an official word from uspsa should happen. I am interested in what Troy said. The way I read "review classifiers that need to be retired by January 31, 2014" leads me to believe that kyle had board approval (since he chaired the committee) to do just what he did.

I believe I am Sir.
