Thanks Jesse for sending me the link.

What's going on is this. I am emailing back and forth with HQ trying to find a date that will work for everyone. There are a limited number of instructors available and a limited number of available weekends. At this point I have selected 2 possibilities, July 30th and the second choice would be October 8th. neither of these dates are approved and I may have to check out another date.

I have started an email list just for this class, so please shoot me a note and I will add anyone to it. My email is [email protected].

SEE YOU ON THE RANGE!!!

Thanks for your interest in the level 1 Range Officer class. You are receiving this because you or someone you know thought you possess the qualities and character to serve in this position. The following information can be shared with anyone you feel should attend.  We need 20 students but can take as many as 30.
The class will be held on October 8th and 9th at Alpha Training Academy, located in Pryor, Ok. The cost for this class is $40.00, I have attached an application to this email and ask that you fill it out and send it and the payment to the address below.  There are only 30 slots available because of classroom size so send in your application sooner rather than later.

I strongly suggest that every USPSA shooter take an RO class. There is a huge difference between being an RO and just running a timer. It will help your game, and it will help our sport.

That being said, here's info on the upcoming RO class at ATA

The time is upon us. Level 1 NROI RO class October 8-9 at Alpha Training Academy in Pryor, Oklahoma.

If you haven't sent in your application there is still time. I am ordering materials today and will probably order 5 extra packs, I expect these 5 to go fast. If you want to attend than be one of the first five to contact me about this opportunity.

If you have already registered you will be receiving an e-mail in a couple of days that will outline the schedule for this class.

We have been working hard to get the training center completed for this class and it appears we will make it. I took a few minutes to visit with the instructor while at nationals last week and he is ready to be here. I am excited for this opportunity and expect it to be a great experience for all those who attend.

It is very important that if you are planning on attending to contact me ASAP to reserve your spot.

There are still a few slots left for the R.O. class being held at Alpha Training Academy this coming weekend.

The only requirement is that you are a current USPSA member. You can update tour membership online or at the class on Saturday.

The cost for the class is $40.00.

I just received the schedule from Jay Worden, our instructor for the class.

He advised the class will start at 8 am on Saturday and run till 5 pm. It will resume at 8 am on Sunday and should be done by 12 or 1.

Lunch will not be provided however we can order something in or go to a local eatery if everyone wants.

It looks like the weather may be damp so bring some raingear in case we need it Sunday.

Here is what Jay sent me:

As far as the students are concerned they need to bring a pen or pencil and if they have a new rule book bring that. If they are going to shoot on Sunday they will need their equipment on Sunday. All class members need eye and ear protection for the range exercise.

I would like to start class at 0800 and will run to apx. 1700. The schedule Kim sent out says 0830, but that just pushes off the end until 1730. On Sunday we will get back together at 0800 or 0830 and run until done. Depending on the class size and their success in the range exercise we will be done apx 12-1230.

If you are interested in the class contact me ASAP either by phone or email.

SEE YOU ON THE RANGE!!!
