USPSA @ H&H Sunday July 10th

Just want to thank everyone for being nice and helping out my son on his first match tonight he thaught everyone was reall cool, and nice all he could talk about is how much fun he had and when can he buy a gun!!! I let him watch the videos of himself shooting and pretty much all he said was wow look how safe I was... Now that's the way it should be not how fast or good he was.

Glad he had a good time, He did really good. Shot it safe, didn't get in a hurry, listened & followed directions. Towards the end he was even calling the hits when we were scoring & pasting. You've got good reason to be proud.

Damn Rusty, you kicked some ass tonight.

As for me I haven't been shooting alot, that brings on the mental fubars, of which there was more than one. What shooting I've been doing has been going back and forth from revo to limited and I think that's messing with my trigger control some. I tried to shoot this match with both eyes open and I've got a big time POI change when doing that or the trigger control thing's popping up, I'm not sure which just yet. I zeroed the classifier tonight and I think it's the both eyes open thing. That shouldn't have happened, it wasn't even a hard classifier. But at least I can usually get a sight picture now, so that's a plus. I gotta get back to practicing every week and get this stuff ironed out.

But mucho gracias to Shannon and Mike. Still a fun match every month! :You_Rock_Emoticon:

Great job Rusty! I remember on one stage in particular, I was running the timer, I was thinking "holy crap, Rusty has improved a ton since last month".

Nice Rusty and thanks again for driving the shortbus to PC. Also, great job Renney, he rattled off those 8 rounds in box 2 on stage 1 soo damn fast. I knew that was going to be a solid finish.

Thanks guys... I'm still a little surprised at that finish. lol...

I attribute last night's shooting to all of the great guys that I get to shoot with rubbing off on me in a totally non-gay way... lol...
