Hello fellow shooters,
As you may have heard our longtime match director at Johnson County and shooting buddy, John Harris, was diagnosed with a rare aggressive cancer.
He and wife Peggy have been driving back and forth to M.D. Anderson in Houston for his treatments and Chemo... running up a lot of $$$$ expenses.
To show our support and help John in his fight against cancer, the club will be putting on a 5-7 stage match on March 7, the regularly scheduled first Saturday match.
Johnson County has given us the range for the whole day, 4-H folks will be there selling breakfast and lunches.
The Charity match will enable you to become eligible for the many donated prizes that have been generously donated. Charity Match fee will be $50.00. Prizes will be awarded by random drawing raffle ticket method.
Match start time is 10AM.
Please feel free to send this to any of your shooting cohorts who may have run into John over the last 20 years.
We will have a large bucket at the range for donations. If you can't make it and would like to donate to this worthy cause, please email Pat Bashford at [email protected] to request his mailing address. You can send your donation regular mail, these will be unopened and put in the bucket or you may donate via PayPal. Transfer funds to Pat or Ves' PayPal account using the Pat Bashford or Ves McDonald email address.
