Anyone from the Okc area headed that direction Saturday? any idea on how long it takes to make it to the range? I need to get classified here soon.

If your headed that direction let me know might help with gas :-)

Dennis, is there going to be a classifier at this shoot? Later,

Kirk

It'd be very surprising if there weren't a classifier.
It's pretty unusual for a USPSA match to not have a classifer.
I think there were like 2 months this summer that OKCGC didn't have a classifer but like I said it's unusual.

I'm about 75% on going. I really want to, but have other stuff going on as well.

This is a great monthly match with a great group of guys.
They love them some steel up in Ponca.
Anybody have any match details?

Who's going? I'm definately going to try.

Shooting starts a 9:00 for this match. Great group of local guys that put on a really fun and challenging match. They always run a classifier and it's about 90 miles from OKC... Seems like we usualy leave from the park and ride on 122nd and I-35 around 7:00 or so. There should be a bunch of us from OKC going, My truck is most likely already full, but it sounds like there will be enough for at least one more vehicle. The match fee is $15 for non members...

I'm close to Moore (89th & Sooner) anyone else want to go? if you have something that doesn't like fuel I'd be more than willing to help out or we could pile in the truck either way I'm going. I am on a mission to have something besides "U" as a classification LOL. Later,

Kirk

From Douglas Stover:

It's that time again! Saturdays match should be six stages and about 140 rounds and Scott promises an easier Classifier this month to boot!

We will set up Friday afternoon, showing up somewhere between 3:30 and 4:00. Any and all help will be appreciated!

See you at the range!

I have not been a newby for a very long time, but I do try to think of new shooters when I design the matches. That is not to say there will not be some difficult shots in the match. I believe in challenging some, but if you make the whole match difficult, people end up not coming back. I am also a hoser from way back, but you cannot just make a hoser match. I do try the balanced approach, but it is speed shooting. If you like to shoot, you will have a good time at the match.
See ya Saturday.

Scott
6 stages
about 140 rds
lots of steel
some unique stuff sometimes.
classifier is CM99-42

Well looks like I've made my mind up I'm going to make the drive and come up and meet some of you folks from the North! see you fella's Saturday. Later,

Kirk

Jake, I even set up a special stage just for you. Oh well, you missed it. I may do it again in the next few months.

Thanks Scott I heard about it. Unfortunately it was on ou/tx weekend( the only game I have to see all year) and I'm really wishing I would have made the hose down instead of Arkansas 3 gun. O well I'll have to make up for it this weekend

Wish I could make this one, but I haven't had time to figure out my ammo issue yet........

Plus I think I'm going to try to hit up the wanenmachers gun show, maybe I will get lucky and sell some guns.
