H&H USPSA Match

We will have our monthly match this Sunday at H&H. Sign in starts around 5:30, and shooting will begin as soon as the range is clear, and the stages are set. Please come out and help set up stages... Please remember we need help cleaning up after the match.
Thanks,
Feegee

Remember for every 10 shooters will be giving out a $50 gift card

We are in the process of freshening up the match. Building new props, and some other things. I also bought a door that we can open and it will activate swingers or whatever else we want to do, and lots of other things are coming in the future. You can only do so much with the size and restrictions of the facility that we have, but we have come up with some really good ideas. So stay tuned for new and exciting things in the future. I will create a thread for anyone who would like to add some input/ideas, and we will discuss them.

You need some Bullet traps so you csn shoot point blank and 180-to-180.

Watch those indoor Russian IPSC videos. That's the pinnacle of indoor action pistol matches.

That is one thing I am working on. Use some of your connections to get me started The right direction. I have some we are going to test out at practice.

I don't know much about all that. I know MGM makes some but that's as far as my knowledge goes

There are plenty of vids on Enos and certain higher level shooters post on Facebook of badass indoor matches with full 180 degrees of freedom. I'll go over there and find out for us.

Apparently some other ranges use AR500 steel for barrier walls instead of concrete, and the steel is covered with plywood, and then ballistic rubber or nylon goes over that. The polymer traps the bullet fragments.

I was talking to Zeke about this the other day, what about making the steel targets out of 1/4" aluminum? You wouldn't have to worry about ricochets and it would sound better then those plastic targets. And it's probably cheaper.

Hmm I will look into it and see how cost effective it will be
It won't be. Not even worth looking into.

But if you got some 1/4" AR500 about 36"x36" then you could make stands for it and cover the plate in ballistic nylon, and then you could place them anywhere and have many, many more stage design possibilities. Replace the ballistic nylon annually, and the AR500 about once every never.
