How come Mike? I ask because I'm planning on buying one. I shot one at a round of sporting clays and was blown away by it. It is one weird looking bastard though.

I think that its great that youre shooting sporting clays now. Vinci would be a great gun for that. Hope you still shoot some three gun.

Is there anything that makes it a bad choice for 3 gun? That's what I was wanting to know. I do plan on continuing to dabble in 3 gun a little. I've also considered the new Beretta but the Vinci is just so light feeling, in it's handling, heft and on the shoulder. It felt like a 20ga.

So, when we gonna hook up and bust some sporting clays?

I gotta score some 16ga shells, or sell my SLP and nab me a Vinci first. Gotta a guy in commiefornia talking to momma about it now, but I still got it.

darn near same stuff I told you when you wanted a slp. only the vinci is as reliable as the M2. The M2 is the gold standard. The load port is great.
$80 for a long tube vs. vinci for $270. M2 is metal to metal. vinci is plastic to metal to plastic. Vincis receiver can be reshaped for an optimal loading setup, but its a pain (ie takes time) to work plastic and not make it look like a rabid beaver gnawed it. Vincis can be made into a great 3gun, its just that M2's can do it faster, stronger, cheaper, and we have a 30 year proven track record for the M1/m2 gun.

If thats what you want scotty, go for it, Its ok to zig when others zag, if youre a zagger!
