I bought one of the barrels from the first batch. It's a sexy barrel! I only shot a few 3 gun matches last year but I'm considering buying another one of these just to have on hand. Christ this is a sickness! I don't think any of you would be disappointed with one of these barrels.

I got one and put it on my Stag Arms upper and used my B.S. lower. I took a friend to OKCGC so he could make sure his deer rifle was still sighted, and only had a few minutes to shoot mine. I didn't have my spotting scope and only fired a few rounds at 100 and 50 yds. I could not tell where they were hitting on paper until I walked downrange. Even though I had no reference the groups were surprisingly good. I didn't have time to adjust my scope then because it was a quick trip and the range was busy, but I liked what I saw.

Probably a stupid question but I'm certainly no gunsmith so forgive my ignorance. How does one of these compare to, for instance, the stock 18" SS fluted barrel with rifle length gas system that comes with an off the shelf Stag Arms Model 3G?
