That is what i had it for and after several batches I just gave up on it and now they are just taking up room.

In college we brewed beer and made wine, our brand names were "Budlouser" and "Champipple", it was best not to drink the last 1 inch from either container. Began straining them with pantyhose and it improved taste and eliminated the dregs in the bottom.
