Turkey season has ended

Turkey season ended May 6. I got out a half dozen times, and scored nothing.
one week later, this is what shows up in my back yard.
I guess the toms are back together.

I'm truly blessed with all of the game that shows up in our yard.

BUT!! My wife spent a ton of money in the last two weeks on flowers, mulch and fertilizer for the flower beds around the house.......about 0445 this morning she got up to let the dogs out and found an armadillo had totally destroyed all the the newley planted flowers......

I'm off tomorrow, and if I know what is good for me, I'll be on diller patrol tonight.

Its going to be a long night
