Guess I'd better say hello and introduce myself since the H&H Community is now defunct. I'm glad to be here. My passion is the firearms of the old west and have numerous single-actions (this includes percussion), a couple of muzzle-loaders and lever-action rifles and reload all my own ammunition. Some of my reloading involves black powder. This keeps me busy and out of my wife's hair. Also trying to learn something new every day.

Hello TB, was wondering if you were gonna make the move over to this forum. Hoping Luv2shoot, Jim and the others come along too.

This looks like a pretty good forum.. and good people from the comments I've read. Manuvering around the different threads will take some getting use too. You might need to pay attention to the dates on some of the threads.. as on some, the last post was several weeks or months ago. It is a much busier form than the H&H forum.. but not as busy as say Glock Talk with a dozen new threads and countless hundreds of comments a day. Which can make it hard to keep up with. I know one new GT thread yesterday had close to 16 new pages of comments in just a few hours. Must be a lot of us older retired guys with a lot of time on their hands.

I have been toying with the notion of SASS but really haven't ventured out yet. Just trying to find an outdoor range is hard anymore what with all that smoke and stuff. LOL. Haven't 'plinked' in a long time.

OKC gun club has it 1-2 times per month. I wondered around and watched once. Everyone was super nice. They all kept offering to let me try their guns to shoot a stage. I wish I would have given it a go!
