While the boys and girls were at the Action Pistol Range toasting their muffins, me and my wife were in the shade over at the Muzzleloader range zeroing my new scope. I got that done and was ready to leave and she said "let's stay a while" we ended up sending about 500 down range and she said she wants a .22 rifle of her own. SWEET!

Lucky man. I wish I could get my wife to shoot. At least she doesn't complain too much about me doing it, so I'm lucky that way.

Was in a very informal skeet shoot last night with my friends from church. When the guys were finished shooting several of the women wanted to get in on the action. My wife didn't hit any clays, but she's very competitive and now she wants me to take her out some more to shoot a shotgun, and on the way home she was even asking how much shotguns cost and talked about getting one "for the kids to learn on"! (I don't have one of my own...)WooHoo!

Michelle is WAAAAYYY competitive and a touch obsessive sprinkled with a little compulsiveness. She was shooting nice 1-1.5" groups and was still cussing because she didn't hit the tiny little orange dot in the center of the target. She shot an extra 30-40 rounds just to "get that little orange sucker"

She got it.

Very nice! I'm lucky enough to have a wife that likes to shoot as well.
It was funny when she was pregnant, she would get mad when I would go to the range cause she couldn't go because the doctor said the noise and breathing gun powder was bad for the baby.
2 days out of the hospital though she went to the safe and pulled out a couple guns, looked at me and said "you ready!, I'm goin alone if you aren't". I'm glad she's mine :D

My wife, has shot my .22 pistol once. It was freezing cold, and we were just driving around Kaw lake, when I spotted some shad frozen in the ice, that were partially exposed. I popped a couple, and she took one shot at 50 yds, and got one. Gave it back, and that was it...

Crash217 has the type of wife who loves shooting so much, she will inevitably burn up ALL of his ammo if he brings her to the range. Be it .22 pistol, AK47, or 12ga shotgun. So look at a non-shooting wife as ammo savings.

That ain't no joke I hate taking my wife to the range just as much as I love it. It's great to go shoot with your best freind. But when they burn up all your ammo its no kosher. Thats why she is going to be stuck with taymoor's old 22 conversion kit for a while once her AR is done.

Perfect day, woke up and took the wife on the motorcycle to Jimmy's Egg, had a tasty breakfast, rode home and asked her what do you want to do now? She said lets go to the range.
REALLY?!

She had a good time, even though it was 100 degrees!

So I'm thinking in October we should have a Wives Shoot at OKCGC. Kinda like they do out there with the Women On Target thing.
Could be a lot of fun.

I nominate Burk to coordinate.
