Went out this morning for a little range time and to shoot off of the Mobile Shooting Platform for the first time. Had a lot of fun at 650 yards. Here's some pics.

It's the .308 on the left

Badass!!! We need to borrow that platform for a 3 gun match. We could get another 50-75 yards off that thing. I want to go next time. I've never shot past 500.

If we ever get slowed down enough to get my cousin to let me borrow a dozer from work, then I want to curve my backstop around another 50-75 feet. When I get that done I can shoot from the corner of one of my fields which would be close to 1000 yards. When it warms up I was thinking about seeing who would want to come up and shoot.

Im in! I know a couple other guys that will join us too. I have a few nice MGM targets we could shoot too

The only think I see that needs to be done is the lower portion needs to be closed in so while you are up top shooting, we can be below all cozy , enjoying an adult beverage! PLUS we might need to give it a cool name like the "Death Cube" OK, maybe not, but the first thing for sure...............

I thought about closing in the bottom but I figured that would catch more wind and make it sway more. Eventually I'm gonna put storage in the lower portion but I'm not sure what I'm gonna store in it. Definatly have an ice chest rack! A buddy said to build a smoker on the bottom. I need to put a real axle under it. Don't think I pull it more than 5 or 6 miles at 15 mph before the bearings get to hot.
