I see these for sale online but never hear much about them. Is there any benefit to one of these things?

From what I've heard they're a lot harder to break than a normal firing pin.

I've never seen one break. Have you?

I guess they could wear out and start piercing primers. But that would have to be after an amazing amount of rounds I would think.

I dunno just seems like a gizmo waste of money to me.

No, I've never seen a firing pin break. Just heard about it kinda like I've heard about aliens and bigfoot too.
Not saying it doesn't happen, I just haven't seen it myself.

It most likely is a gizmo waste of money.

Until I witnessed Jesse's explosion I had never seen a rifle blow up. I have seen the bolt break several times. I think the logic is the titanium has less mass, so the ignition is theoretical quicker from from the time the trigger is pressed.

Apparently they're somewhat necessary on some lightened mass op system rifles, or you might get doubles. <cough>curly</cough>

If Kurt uses them it aint no gimic! I heard his story of load an make ready slamdire into the berm. Always load and make ready into to back berm guys!
