Time to upgrade my AR trigger. Suggestions?

I just installed the ALG trigger, with JP springs, and the JoeBob's grip screw trigger adjuster - which allows you to take up most of the pre-travel in the trigger.

For $70 it's astoundingly better than a stock mil-type trigger.

So many great products out there with only one AR (currently).

I went with the AR Gold and it feels fantastic. I haven't done any live fire with it yet, however I've got plenty of dry fire practice in.

I have been eyeballing on of those AR Gold triggers. Let us know how much you like it after you go shoot it.

I'm a nobody, but I really like the feel of my Wilson Combat ttu 3g. I just picked up a Timney competition but havent tried it yet.

I might try the hiperfire 24c, if i dont like it, sell and buy something else. Theyre all not far off from eachother in price. Giesselle, ar gold, timney, hiperfire etc

I used to be a huge JP fan and then bought a Geissele SD3G and have never looked back. For anything other than long range stuff I'm a huge fan of the SD3G and for longer range stuff the Geissele Hi-Speed Match trigger is amazing.

The hiperfire is supposed to be the new thing. The way I understand it, the problem with standard AR trigger designs is that if you want a lighter trigger pull, it automatically reduces the hammer energy significantly. Actually it's more like to get a lighter trigger, you purposely reduce the power of the hammer spring. So with duty triggers, its not that it is easier to have a negligent discharge as much as the fact that a lighter hammer and cheaper ammo isn't a great combination when lives are on the line. The hiperfire is supposed to let you have a light trigger pull, yet still have a lot of hammer energy. I have not tried one but if this is true then that is very interesting and I'm not sure why they aren't even more popular. Personally I run a Geiselle SSA and it is plenty adequate, I feel no need to upgrade especially based on my skill level, but if I ever build another I might go that route.
