doe snot surprise me-- the living here on Earth seem to be dumbing down rapidly

mor e proof of societies downfall--it is now common place to be rude. the dementocraps encourage that and violent behavior.

heck most folks think it is ok to ignore emails and phone calls... no reply,,,nothing. communication and common decency as we have known it for hundreds of years is almost gone..as are morals, values, manners and mutual respect(present company excepted--we ARE better than that)

Cell phones, texts, e-mails and the like have removed one of the key components of communication. This part is the human interaction between people. Less than 10% of a message is the actual spoken word. Are we losing the ability to interact with people? Are we disconnecting from humanity? Does this disconnect create the rude, hateful feelings of indifferent?

The thoughts that wander through the mind of a Bender.

I'd say that a large portion of our population has already "disconnected". The internet and social media have made it possible for people to be rude, vulgar and totally intolerant of people that they disagree with without fear (they think) of any real consequences. Even some of our Congressional reps, and yes, our President, have started down this road and may eventually be held accountable. Not so for the average internet loudmouth.
