The Homeless and the second ammendment.

I saw a show on that very subject. In a northern city, a news crew went with a church group that trying to pick up homeless folks on the coldest night of the winter, and very few of them accepted the offer of a warm meal, and a dry bed.

what was the show?? link??

I used to take cold Gatorade to the homeless folks in downtown OKC during the summer months. I was rejected multiple times; guess they didn't like Gatorade. :girlsad:
(Sorry, this has nothing to do with the topic.)

The only ways to purchase a firearm are either from a dealer which would require identification which the homeless probably can't get as I'm pretty sure they have to give an address and then lie about their current non existent one on the 4473 which makes them a felon, or they may purchase it through an individual without an ID. This lets them buy a gun but as they do not have a home and cant get a concealled carry permit without an address they cannot leave it in their non existent residence or carry it concealled or open legally. So its is litterally illegal for the homeless to bear arms! Therefore they dont really have the right to bear arms. Its funny how people call it a "right" when its really a privelege. Rights can't be taken away. priveleges can. Such as having a drivers license. It is a privelege not a right. This is also why so called "rights" can be taken away from someone who is convicted of a felony. Its because sadly we Americans dont really have a right to bear arms we have a privilege to bear arms or at least that is what it has turned into.
