A complete redo of our entire Political system starting by defunding the Crooks in there now, & turn the entire process into a system like the military.
Just enough pay to compesate a person who leaves their job to serve for up to 8 years then back to civilian life.

It sounds dumb at first however if it worked we would not cause people to go to DC for their own enrichment, but 2 do the work of the people instead.
Until we have a system that puts Citizens first then we will have a stinkin Sesspool that works for Crooks & not for the Country.

That's it in a nutshell Work for the people or Get the hell out of DC!

My thought is it should be like jury duty! You are selected from the pool of registered voters and they randomly draw SS numbers to serve your term and then just do your 4 years. You then go back to your normal life, job must be he'd for you while on duty. I have no problem with some sort of benefit after your service, like a small monthly stipend or health coverage like everyone whom works for a living gets.
There will only be a couple reasons you don't have to serve such as actively In military, disease, mentally incapable (should they be a registered voter anyways) in prison, etc! Should also have to take a 30-90 day constitution, history and social science courses before serving!

I agree with all the posts here. TERM LIMITS, its gotta happen. Vote out all RINOs. Intended as "service" not a career. And also, no lobbying position ----EVER

Raise the fees high enough on lobbyists and the public realizes it' a scam. Term limits, make them so they don't take effect for twenty or thirty years and maybe it would pass. Without the delay there is no hope.

Relying on congress to vote for term limits , which cost them their careers and hit them in the wallet is a pipe dream . Not ever going to happen . Vote every single incumbent out .

Unfortunately as brilliant as our founders were, they did not see this as an issue! I wish they had set some sort of time limit from the start but they never intended for it to be a career. They were all something else first, such as a farmer, in the military a scientist, etc whom happened to have an opportunity to be of service to his country as a statesman!

Everyone trying to make something out of nothing! Like wanting to raise a family on a counter job at McDonalds! It was never intended for you to raise a family, it's the just supposed to be the "Adult Starter Set" of the game everyone is supposed to play!

All it takes is for Trump voters to NOT SHOW UP should a RINO survive a primary (or worse, not be primaried at all). Yes, a Democrat will win, but we are in this mess because we did not hold our politicians accountable for their actions. It is more important to kick out all RINOs!

That presumes that all incumbents are substandard. Jim Jordan, substandard? He and many others deserve to be re-elected. RINOs deserve to be thrown out. I do wish both houses had a 6 year term limit. Not ever going to happen, however.

I worked with a guy that had that same idea 25 years ago. Some people said he was nuts, I thought about it for awhile and now it seems like a brilliant idea.

The biggest problem America faces is the media ! Once censorship is accepted the downward spiral begins ! American patriots had better start figuring out a way to stay in touch and organize with each other now ! I wish I was more tech savvy . Hopefully some of the young men will step up . And I do believe GOD almighty has control of everything , but I do believe HE is letting us have control of the country that was absolutely based on biblical principles,at least until the second coming.

Just wondering, I have not followed Jim Jordan much, but what bills did he help get passed when Trump was first in office and the GOP had the House and Senate?
