I had no choice but to wait until now to send my shotgun off to get some work done, I need to develop an accurate load for my rifle that will let me ring steel at 500 and 600 yards, I just got my quadload caddies I need to set up and get comfortable with using a stock Remington 1100 until I get mine back, which may not get back in time for the biggest match I've shot so far, let alone in time to practice with. I've found deficiencies yet again in my stage planning, remembering target location, remembering when to reload the shotgun and nonstandard rifle shooting positions. My pistol skills have begun to deteriorate because I've been so focused on shotgun, and I have to figure out how to shoot long range rifle with my heart rate elevated, a condition I can easily replicate, but don't know how to actually train for.

I love 3 Gun.

I'm very happy right now. I won't be happy if I don't have my shotgun, but I have a friend who has a Benelli M2 he'll let me use. Stock tube length, but I may buy an extension and give it to him. Sad as it is, those few extra rounds are going to be critical for me in the upcoming match. They have a 45 round shotgun only stage.

45 rounds? Lol that will be the longest stage ever, because you'll have to wait for every shooter to swap all their caddies to the next guy so he's not tucking shells behind his ears and everywhere else just to have enough ammo. I imagine a lot of people will be loading out of cargo pockets. Don't get any damn ideas, Cyrwus.

I just bought three Taccom triple deuces and a double deuce. That's 44 rounds, 9 in the gun, a Safariland six round caddy, a Commiefornia Competition four round caddy, and if the rules don't specifically prohibit it, I'll probably start with some rounds in my hand and a dozen rounds in my mouth. I should be good.

Don't forget nature's pocket.

I'm perfectly calm. I wasn't being sarcastic at all when I said I love 3 gun. I wish I had been able to spend more time preparing for the upcoming match in March, but I tend to have more fun when I'm running different directions and have the stress of short suspenses. I will probably forget something minor, like my rifle, but it'll be fun.

Wait, you mean there are states with fun things named after them besides Ohio? I'm familiar with the Cleveland Steamer and Cinncinatti Chilidog. Oh yeah, the Texas Snowplow.

Wow thanks to Charger Arms for the U turn to pervertville. Lol!
This is why I like starting threads that are useless as boobs on a nun. My original post isn't saying anything that nearly every member here hasn't experienced already or is still going through. It spares the more important threads and will eventually be hidden by other posts. Like it stops anyone from doing it on good threads too....
