he s the one that let me know anyone can become president, not anyone like us but anyone like the elite polititian lying sack of crap that can talk up a wad of money.

the country is broken. we had 2 of the same thing running. between one of them and one of Ron Paul or the like, we would have a choice and a new president.

its gonna be a shame if you and i have to fix it.

I didn't read the story but CNN had an internet article yesterday titled "Hostess in mediation". There may be a revival...

or perhaps they will be made in China and be stuffed with a fortune instead- they can call them "Chinkies" :P

Sorry, haven't had my tea yet.

I heard there was a Mexican company interested in buying them, so they may be called "Los Submarinos".

At 150 calories per Twinkie (that's 300 calories for most of us who simply can't stop at eating half a pack) these should almost be considered survival food. That's a lot of calories packed into a small package and they cost a lot less than survival bars.

Hostest is dead. The courts are letting them go to liquidation.

"...by, by American Pie...I drove my volt to the levy but the levy was close due to federal ownership..."

Yeah, if you can survive through a box of them you can survive through ANYTHING!

"ATTENTION, MIDNIGHT RAVER- STEP AWAY FROM THE TWINKIES!!!"

Actually, I'm more of a devil dog man myself- they are NOT good for me, it is best that they go away...

UNFORTUNATELY, we cannot blame this on the present administration.
the demise of this company is due to pure greed and the need to bust the union. total mis-management to say the least. when you give your top execs a 300% pay raise/bonus package and at the same screw your employees out of their pensions that you agreed to is just wrong.
but what the hell lets blame the president and the congress

I doubt the president had anything to do with 30% of the workers striking and causing the other 70% to lose their job.

i was told by a Teamster that the 700 teamster union employees agreed to take the loss to keep Hostess open but the 300 employees in the bakers union would not.

You know the world has been turned on it's ear when the teamsters are more reasonable than the bakers.

dont say that outloud,

my wife is a teamster, ssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

so now you know where i heard that about the bakers.
