I saw that gun on the TV segment called "this old gun" where folks bring them in for evaluation. Very interesting history on it, and air rifles in general that date from that era. I never knew they had air guns back then.

Wow, that's an impressive air rifle. The pigeons on my roof would be done for for sure. I wonder why nobody makes something like this anymore?

If I remember right, the appraiser on "this old gun" said the value was in the upper 5 figures. Thankfully the owner has allowed it to be on display.
Tizzle, I'm with you. It would take awhile to pump it up, but with the number of full shots afterward, it would be worth it. The guy on the TV show that I watched said the group used it for small game to keep them in some meat.
