Stages look nuts. Gonna start loading this weekend!

Don't think that little fact didn't influence my statement. You guys atecall shooting the rifle like it's the end if the season. They ain't gonna know what hit 'em!
 
I'm shooting limited as well. It'll be a true test of irons versus "unmagnified". I'm thinking a red dot is probably the way to go after these last two matches, But the distance shots may give the irons an advantage... either way its always fun to whip up on some Texas boys lol

We are taking advantage of having the entire facility to ourselves for the weekend, and taking advantage of all the props and hard work that so many people are putting so much time and effort into for the main day match by incorporating a night match into the weekend!



The night match is going to be very similar to the current night matches we host in conjunction with Texas Multi Gun. It will be 4-5 stages, quick and fun (target distances from 1-40 yards)! It will be scored just like they always have been (time plus), it will be self squadded RO's (means no dedicated RO's or scorekeepers) like all the other club level matches.



The key differences or benefits of this match:



- 1st place finisher wins a complete AR15 carbine rifle!



- 2nd-4th place finishers get entry fee refunded!



- Includes night match t-shirt!



- This is a CARBINE ONLY match (.223 or greater caliber, sorry no 9mm carbines), no pistols.



- You do not have to shoot the day match to shoot in the night match (open to everyone!)



- 4 stages, paper AND steel targets.



- Match can be shot on either Friday night the 18th or Saturday night the 19th both starting at approx 6:30PM (subject to change depending on how long the day matches last). Scores and prizes will be awarded Sunday the 20th during awards ceremony. You do not have to be present to win, winner can pick up their rifle from Guns Plus in Georgetown, or we can ship it to an FFL of your choice.



- Match fee is only $30! (WITH A CHANCE TO WIN AN BRAND NEW AR!!! and a sweet T-Shirt)



- Match is limited to the first 60 shooters per night. If you plan on attending please send me an email to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> and let him know which night you would like to shoot so we can pre-register you and save you a spot! Right now Saturday has about 40 people pre-registered because most people from out of town are shooting that night. If you can shoot Friday it is likely to be the smaller night.



- ***OPTIONAL/BONUS stage! We will have a 5th/6th stage (depending on if we run 4 or 5 standard stages) that is a 10 shot, 250 yards stage, shot with one of our prop guns and "special optics"! The bonus stage will cost $10 to shoot, but 50% of that will go towards purchasing raffle tickets for the Nic Neel benefit! The winner of this raffle will win an Infinity 6" custom pistol, accessories from Velocity Shooters, and some targets by AR15TARGETS! The winner of the bonus stage will receive all the raffle tickets purchased, the more people that shoot the stage the more tickets there are to win, giving you a greater shot at the Infinity!





*** Note this raffle is not exclusive to the night match, it is an ongoing fundraiser for Nic Neel, additional tickets can be purchased directly from North Texas Practical shooters, even if you can't make the night match please check out their website and consider buying some raffle tickets to help send this local junior shooter to Greece as a member of the 2011 USPSA World Shoot Open Junior Team! We will have additional raffle tickets available for purchase at any time during the weekend, during the day, or night matches.

This match is either gonna be really cool or they are going to make it really bad trying to make it really cool. Either way I wish I was going with you guys. Get some good video for us.
 
How sick would it be to walk away with that Infinity gun?

I'll settle for getting my match fee back, I guess. :)
 
I've got two tickets...I told the guy I would only buy some if he guaranteed I would win, so you're out of luck. :)
