Tell me about AK's

One thing to watch out for if you're getting a Century WASR is for oversized mag wells. When they cut them to accept a double stack standard AK mag, sometimes they go overboard. My best friend's WASR-10 does not accept standard metal AK magazines as a result... they have too much side-to-side wobble and don't feed correctly. He found through trial and error that Bulgarian Arsenal "Circle 10" plastic magazines work okay, but they're not cheap compared to what's out there.
 
If you find a rifle you like but it doesn't have the side rail for comblock optics, you could add one, go with the ultimak gas mount, or get one of the new Texas weapon system's generation 2 dog leg. Personally, I'm still debating which way to go
