Just bought one of these. Can't wait until it arrives. I've been getting into smaller carry guns lately. This one will probably end up in my wife's purse so I have to make sure I have my fun with it before letting her see it. :mrgreen:

My son in law has a similar looking revolver from Taurus in 38 caliber. I can't hit crap with it, but my daughter is damn good when shooting it.

Seeing as the .380ACP is rimless, what keeps the shell from sliding out the front?

I'll give it to Taurus, they are not afraid to go out on a limb and try something a little off beat. I own a few Taurus (Tauri?) products and have been really happy. Their 93R .22lr ( a Browning reproduction) is one of the best gun buys I have ever made.

I bet that revolver will be a gem.

Thanks. I've been trying to get something the wife can shoot without hurting her hand. We have a High-Point .380 she likes to shoot but it won't stick to the magnet under her sewing machine. She's a bit uncomfortable with the S&W 638 which weight only 12.5 ounces. The Taurus weighs 15.5 ounces so along with the lighter weight and load it should be just right. And it's small so will be easy to conceal.

Now if I can only get Bud's Gun Shop to deliver. I used a direct bank transfer to get around their near criminal 3% surcharge for using a debit card which is known around the world as the cost of doing business with merchants and sellers. Immagine going to Sears and them telling you there is an additional 3% fee for your purchase. I realize other gun dealers do this but that doesn't make it right.

The order was placed in Oct 12, the funds were deducted from my bank account on the 14th and the status still shows they are waiting on payment to clear.

Owning a business myself I know how these things work. To pour salt into the wound they won't give you a status until 7 days after the order is placed. The whole way they are setup is very un-customer friendly and their policies wreak of arrogance. My fault for not reading their policies more in depth but I do know I will never deal with them again. I've received auction winnings faster than this. There are also tons of complaints against them on complaintsboard.com and other sites.

I usually check companies out better than this. Either way I'll get the gun or the money but it's just a PITA having to go through this. TN to SC should be a week tops for an in stock item unless paying by snail mail.

Oh yeah, and I forgot to add; and they think their customers are stupid enough to believe that the listed prices are cash discounts. :lol:

I finally got hold of someone and was told its still processing and that once it clears it should ship within 3-5 days. Its not a big deal since I'm too busy to go to the range anytime soon, but it sure is nice to know what a bunch of dweebs these guys are.

So the moral of the story is it takes about two weeks to get a gun from Bud's Gun Shop if you pay with a direct wire transfer. I use this method all the time all over, even for bills in it consistently posts within 48 hours. Everywhere except Bud's.
