I had some of my Romanian employees welding up some steel target stands for me. I had a few old AR500 plates handy as well so I had them weld two to a piece of flat bar so I could use them as knock down targets. Then I checked on their progress today and this is what I found. :shout:

At least they wont spin!!!

It got better. They had two finished like this and two done right. I thought they weren't going to be around until this weekend so I figured I had time to get them moved Friday. Walked in today and I had a nice set of four unknock down targets. 30 minutes with the chop saw and grinder and they're good to go.

I wanted to reweld the rebar back to a new plate which is why I cut them square and flat with a chop saw. I'd love to have you teach me how to remove that weld and leave a flat surface with a torch.

My guess would be the welder came into OK on a covered wagon in the land run and these boys weld with the methodology of quantity over quality.
