Well according to 5.11 this started out as an April Fools joke originally. However, do to the overwhelmingly positive response they had they are going to be releasing a kilt.

I ordered mine yesterday. Yes, I'm Scottish. Yes, I have other kilts. Yes, I will wear this to a match with my Boomer Shooter jersey.

I don't think I have the legs to wear a kilt but I like the idea of the optional boxers, so things you just don't need to see on the range! Later,

I remember when I had my first beer. Boy was I acting stupid, but this.... Just pulling your leg I think. Please get those opt drawers.

if they were the norm I would jump into right em quick. Keep my underside from sweating so much. I have to admit I am skeert of wearing one. Wouldn't bother me the ladies, but the guys checking me out and trying to get peeks would give an all new meaning to run Forest run, or the cause of suicide. I can visualize it now. Your Honor I swear I don't know what caused that man to grab my pistol, shoot himself 15 times about the head and shoulders, perform the smoothest slide lock reload you ever saw and shoot himself some more. Truly amazes me how some folks just have a craving to commit suicide.
Luck to you and ah make sure you know which bar you are walking into. Either kind could end up bad.

I'll be grabbing one soon enough, maybe two if they can get the color I want.

I have rocking legs, I've pulled it off before and I'll gladly kilt up again. If you haven't tried it, don't knock it, you have no idea what you're missing.
