Ok, everyone seems interested in more .22 rimfire matches, so we'll give it a go on the 5th Sunday, July 31st.

It will be very similar to the OK State Tactical Match, but with the following exceptions:

NO CENTERFIRES ALLOWED!

.22 or .17 Rimfire only!

Tubular Magazines ALLOWED. We will adjust the stage/scoring to allow them to keep up without reloading.

.22 Handguns ALLOWED. This one won't be a 2-gun match, but adjustments will be made so handguns will be competitive.

Depending on entries, we may allow a shooter to sign up for multiple divisions at a $5 savings per extra division.

Divisions will be:

.22 Tactical Magnified and unmagnified (AR type rifles)

.22 Standard Magnified and unmagnified (10-22 type)

.22 Tubular Magnified and unmagnified (any type, lever, semi-auto, bolt)

.22 Handgun (Revolver and semi-auto compete together)

The match will have elements from the .22 OK Tactical Match, but no sticks and no 1" targets. It'll be more of a "run and gun" kind of thing, like Stages 2 and 4 were.

Be there !!

This match will be awesome. Everyone loves to shoot .22 and this format will let all types participate.

Good job David. Will it be pre-registration only like last time?

OK, since no one is going to ask, I will..............

What kind of candy are we going to be shooting? Little Valentines hearts? M&M's? Tic-Tac's?

I thought about having 1/4 scale popper, when hit, toss a Skittles in the air. Hitting it in the air would cut the stage time in 1/2

I anticipate 3 shooting positions, 9 rds at each for 27 rds minimum per stage.

For semi-auto shooters, one in the gun with two reloads should do it. .22 revolver would require 6 rds per position.

I will be there!! :wee_hee:

In for Tactical AR unmagnified and pistol.

Most tubular magazines hold 15 rds, so we would figure out how they would shoot 5 rds per position.

What that looks like, exactly, will be determined at a later date. The point is, tubular mags can play!

:-[ what about my .22 NAA Derringer :-[

I have a Davis derringer! two shot, it might take 20 reloads per stage, but how do we score it??

If I wear Cargo shorts, and put it in the lower pocket, will it be ATAS like a leg holster??

Sorry about the distraction.....carry on with the real thread ;)
