Swap Meet

Any one thought about having a swap meet and shoot some time? Thats if the snow ever melts.

I think the OKC Gun club is having a swap meet on March 26, how many of us are members? I joined last year and the swap meets are pretty fun.

I would need to talk to my insurance guy first, but I would be happy to host something like this. I have 120 acres, with a private gun range. Right now it only goes out to 200 yards, there is plenty more room to take it out further. I also have 10 target stands, they are just regular stands that I built to hang a paper target. I have an air conditioned shop with a big grill in it that is next to the range. I also have a pretty big swimming pool, that will be up in late spring.

Let me know if yall would even be interested in this before I call the insurance. Most likely I will have to have liability waivers signed beofre you can shoot.

I have a waiver I had created by a lawyer buddy. We created this for the Big NFA Day we had at USSA last summer. It basically says this is a gun don't be a dumbass & shoot yourself or anybody else. If you do it's your fault & the firearm owner has bears no responsibility. But in long drawn out legaleeze.

Some argue that in Okla. a waiver of liability means nothing, but I'd prefer to have one than not. It definately can't hurt.

I'll look for it & send you a copy if you're interested.

Tri-City Gun Club is having a swap meet in conjuction with the March meeting. I think it is the first Friday in March. They postoned it from Febuary because of the snow.
