Ever thought of doing something along the lines of a "educational canoeing trip"

Canoe the Edisto, camp, use your BOB, expand some skills? Give the participants a mandatory and suggested list of equipment as well as forbidden equipment.

It would be fun, Id be down, and I really hate classroom type education.

I don't teach in a classroom, I teach in a wooded lot next to D & R which I have permission to use.

I do offer overnight trips to my property in Georgia so I could also do training on an Edosto trip if you'd like. Just PM me and we'll get the ball rollin'!

This all sounds like a great trip to me, I could run up 1 or 2 more to come with me. My biggest issue is a work and family schedule. I need concrete date and I'll do my best to make them work.

Thanks for the posts.

Hi Dave,
I met you at the Sville 9-12 meeting the other night.
I found this forum from someone talking about it on the radio today.
I posted my intentions in the New Member/Summerville section.
