You are cordially invited to the first bi-anual Stripped Lower Receiver Swap Party!
When: Saturday, November 17 at 12:00 noon.
Where: Wanenmacher's Gun Show at the Tulsa Expo Center, upper level, South side of the building (the side with the main entrance), at the eating area just outside the restrooms on the East side of the main entrance, above the South ramp to the lower level.
What to Bring: One or more standard mil spec forged AR-15 stripped lower receivers in new condition, any make.
Why: To swap a receiver you bought on a 4473 for a functionally identical product with no gov't paperwork connecting you to it, in an anonymous transaction.
Rules: This event is strictly anonymous. Do not swap with people you know. To ensure everyone is served, everyone swaps one lower with one other stranger before anyone swaps a second or subsequent lower. No being a little cat lady about make or roll mark -- you get what you get. All lowers should be in new condition so that everyone gets a substantially identical product.
Is this legal? Yes, as long as you have no reasonable belief that a person you are swapping with is legally prohibited from owning firearms, or is a resident of a State other than Oklahoma. Obviously if you have any reason to think either of those things about a person, do not swap with that person. This is legal advice -- if you can't trust a lawyer, who can you trust? :wink2:
