Streamlight TLR-3

My wife surprised me with a TLR-3 tonight for my Birthday. This is the first weapon mounted light I have ever had. So far Im pretty impressed with it. Its a little short for my Glock 19 so the switch doesn't come back as far as a larger light would but I can still reach it ok. Ill get pics up tomorrow and do a full review after I've spent some time with it and made a couple trips to the range.

I used to have a TLR-1 on my Glock 21SF. I like the idea of the TLR-3 having an LED bulb and being smaller than the TLR-1. I will say my TLR-1 was really bright.

I have a TLR-1 on my Glock 19 and it's been an awesome light. The controls seem to be in a good place for me.

I have a TLR-1 on my P30 and another for the backup P30S when it comes in. Being left handed, the switch is backwards to what I actually want. Anyone tried a remote switch?

I have a TLR-2 IR on my AR and it is awesome. It is the "C4 LED Technology", which is plain and simple LED. It's battery life is practically infinite, especially with Li-ion. The beam on my streamlight is at the nicely balanced between floodlight and spotlight. It lets me see a wide enough area, while still offering some spotting power.

I just recently switched the TLR-1 over to a Viridian C5L both for it's better fit on the front of the P-30 and the better ambidextrious contols. I've ordered a Raven Concealment Phantom with Light Holster which I should see sometime around the second coming.
