I'll know more once I get to SHOT but rumors are...

1. Serial number moved rearward to allow load port mods.
2. Load port is more open then the standard M3000.
3. Oversized Bolt release
4. Oversized bolt handle
5. Oversized safety
6. 3 chokes for 3-gun
7. Lifter is slightly longer
8. Exterior of mag tube is smoother
9. Rebate or certificate for mag tube

6. 3 chokes for 3-gun yes, im, m, and an extended turkey(?) choke
7. Lifter is slightly longer seems to be a little more; cant say 100% all my stock lifters are getting welded
8. Exterior of mag tube is smoother theyre doing the same thing to standard m3000's now too.
9. Rebate or certificate for mag tube dunno

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the bolt release on the M3K for releasing the bolt when the tube is empty? Like you run dry and drop one on the chamber. I thought the shell release by the trigger was for releasing a single shell from the tube. On my M2K I could empty the chamber without getting another round from the tube, unless I hit the release by the trigger.

its one of those death jams that happens with inadvertent contact with the bolt release when clearing a malfunction or with a empty chamber start. its not an easy thing to do, but I do believe its a flaw that can ruin someones day and/or stage

I would love to get the US Price range to Europe.. Paying $ 1200 for a JM Pro and spending $ 2-300 on lifter, bolt release, chokes and such...

That makes more sense then. Guess context was what I was missing. I've seen a few guys have issues on unloaded starts with Benelli's, VersaMaz's, and others. Always sucks.

Ahh, but wouldn't I have already screwed the pooch if I have to hit the button? Don't mind me, just kinda playing devils advocate here. But I'm pretty sure every time I've hit the bolt release on the timer, it's been because of a mistake or malfunction.

You're only screwing the pooch if you're not staying portloader strong.
