stoeger m3000

I've only tried to quad load a couple of times. Seemed like a good way for me to throw shells all over the place. All of the pictures I have seen have been of people saying they were opening them up for quad loading. I figured there must have been something in the technique I was missing. Its loading two pretty slick right now.

Got the M3000 put together this morning. I wasn't nearly as aggressive on the loading port but it seemed to be enough for load two what little bit I have tried it so far. Looking forward to the next match to try it out.

I have seen pics his work and he was nice and conservative with the opening. Practice will make you and Mrs JC996 faster than you were with the 1100. You going to shorten the stock for her too?

not sure, I understand. If it works for deuces, why wouldn't it work for quads?
Everything has to be pretty smooth and perfect to really toss a quad with speed. If you have a hiccup on your first set of shells and it messes up your alignment on the second set your losing time and might as week just drop a duece. You probably still get the same shells bobble with a dueces but you notice it less cause you have a full on four finger grab around those two shells. With the quad load you're holding onto the second set of dueces by the hair of your chinny chin chin.

She can load this one a lot easier than the 1100. I don't think I will have to shorten the stock, it seems to fit her pretty well.

Nice! There's a $50 rebate right now. Just bought one of the 26" based off of feedback from this website. Took it pheasant hunting about 3 weeks ago... Like it a lot.
