stoeger m3000

Cool thanks! So the 24 or 26 for a 100$ difference?
Not really unless you just want a litter gun. I bought a 30" browning A5 and a 26" M3000. I like the short guns cause they are svelte but my mag tube sticks out past a 30".

i have the 930 flannigan. and after shooting the stoeger for 300 plus rounds i told my wife that she may have to share her stoeger with me till i am able to buy my own. jesse will give his a workout and let us all know what he thinks. he is one of the best in the world with a shotgun. if anyone can find a flaw with the gun it will be him... :hunter: .
well elephant dung! I better get over there with my notebook when he tears into it.

I can't fix crap and you guys know it. I'm reading this though. I know it's not on the internet but some of its gotta be true.

A new A5 or one of the old school ones? The old ones are Bad Ass. I still want to find a beater just to mess with but if I did, I'd probably end with a SBS stamp for the thing...

The old ones are badass. My dad's sweet 16 was a thing of beauty. I anyways loved the black shot shells in 16 gauge too. I was talking about a New A5. They are inertia driven like a Stoeger and Benelli. So they should be really reliable. Plus they have the auto load feature which loads the chamber automatically by simply loading a shell in the tube. No more port loads ever!!!

200 more rounds through stoeger 3000. That makes 500+ so far with only 1 ftf... ya its no m2 but may be just as reliable for under half the price..

The auto load was started in the old A5's. It's just too freakin cool. The magazine cutoff is kinda neat too. I have my Grampa's Sweet 16 and it looks brand spanking new.

For a long long time I've wanted to take on old 12ga A5 and build a mag extension/adapter for it, hang an X-Rail on that right at the end of the forearm and chop the barrel off right at the end of the X-Rail. Talk about badass!

Dropped a long piece of bamboo down the magazine tube on my M3000 and took it hunting again yesterday.

2 quail - in close with IC choke. Had to get them quick before my brother tried to shoot with his modified choked gun.

4 Canada Geese - 3" steel BBs, pond jumping. My shorthair got 6 water retrieves on geese and was really cold and tired.

Does anyone know if the stoeger safety is reversible or if someone makes one for them? I'm looking for a budget built 3 gun shotgun but I'm a lefty.

The Taran Tactical safety fits perfectly on this.

From what I can find online it isn't possible. I looked at the taran tactical and it doesn't specify. Looks like I'm gonna have to go JM Pro in my budget or just play in open with my crappy MKA

Anyone know how to get the snap ring out of the factory tube? I all ready broke a pair of pliers. Is there a trick to it I'm missing?

I could not get mine out with snap ring pliers. I used needle nose and bent one of the tips up slightly where I could get a hold of it with the needle nose. That and a little more force came shooting out.
