you need to get off the internet and go shoot otherwise youll be catching racked rounds pretty soon.
Ive been at work all day otherwise i would be but i need to be shooting my glock instead of playing with the 2011 since ill be shooting the block still in matches until i get everything set up and ready to run the STI

Hey, easy on the racked rounds, I don't like bending over and picking stuff up around my group of shooters.
I've seen the guys you run with, that could be dangerous.

I deactivate mine because they all lock the slide back with a round still in the mag. I want full benefit of my mag capacity, so I grind the slide stop nubs off of my followers.

I caught my own racked round once... I was 16 or 17 and my dad was the RO. He gave me the unload and show clear command and I was trying to look cool like the guys on TV (before YouTube) and jacked the round out and caught that motherfucker like a bad ass! He immediately stopped me and said " don't ever do that, you look like an idiot". Still stands today and still makes give me a giggle every time I see it happen.

slide should be in the 11-12 oz range. Lighter and it can open prematurely and round off the lugs on barrel and slide. Have seen this on a lot of race guns. Also light springs will let a lightened slide open to soon
