How far should the brass be landing on the ground when I am shooting, and how do you know when it is time to replace the one in your gun?

If you're loading your pansy loads, the brass will be by your feet.
Don't worry about where your brass is landing. Shoot your pistol, clean it every once in a while and enjoy.

My extractor is fine, but I went and shot some rounds yesterday, and all of the brass landed about 12 feet away in a nice pile. So I guess I was just wondering how they usually last.

sounds like an easy clean up at quitting time

Did the brass happen to fall on concrete? Like it did when we shot last week? If so then stop worrying about this awesome gun and practice with it!

If you try to be a gamer on your M&P .40 loads, and get too slow of a powder in them, the brass comes straight back to your forehead, and lands between your eyes and your eye glasses.

Don't ask me how I know this.

Blue dot, is for hot jacketed loads, not target loads.

I am still new to this platform so I am pretty sure there's going to be a lot stupid questions coming from me!! Until I learn
