i just bought a stevens model 84D 22 from a person on a nother site and am having trouble.the magazine will not release.if anyone has this rifle and may know what the problem is pleas share.i will probably take it to franson firearms when i go and have them check it out.

For our collective minds, what did you find to be the problem? I'm not familiar with that model, but one never knows when some info may come in handy.
